Hello lovely readers! Hope you had a fab Christmas! And if you don’t celebrate Christmas then I hope you had a really great Thursday!
I’ve seen a few posts by people about what they got for Christmas and thought I’d do the same!
🙂
Usually for Christmas (and my birthday!) I give my parents a list. It’s something I’ve always done since I was little where I would hunt through the Argos catalogue and write down the catalogue numbers :’)
From my parents:
A pink Instax polaroid camera, Guardians of the Galaxy DVD and stand up DVDs from 3 of my favourite comedians; Russell Howard, Jack Whitehall and Miranda Hart. And also, it’s not pictured because it hasn’t arrived yet, but I also have a ticket to Taylor Swift in Hyde Park in June as part of my Christmas present too!!
Boxing Day came around and I decided to treat myself with some of the Christmas money I received from my Nan and my aunts and cousin… with books. :))))
From Foyles and Waterstones I acquired:
Saga Volumes 2+3 – Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples
The Strange Library – Haruki Murakami
The Booby Trap edited by Dawn O’ Porter (I got this in Waterstones and discovered it was signed!! hell yeah!)
Not That Kind of Girl – Lena Dunham
The Bone Clocks – David Mitchell
I swear I only intended to buy Saga volumes 2,3 and 4. Foyles didn’t have 4 so I had some money left over. And how could I not pick up two recently published hardcovers, The Strange Library and Not That Kind of Girl, for 50% off?!?!?!?
Same goes for The Bone Clocks. Half price in Waterstones. I got it for £10. TEN. POUNDS. I nearly fainted.
Amazon had a sale that started on Christmas Day and I decided to treat myself to McBusted’s DVD
Lots of reading and watching in my future!
Hope you all have a great New Year!
Thanks for reading! 🙂
