Hamilton Book Tag!

Today I bring you the Hamilton book tag. This is a tag inspired by the musical Hamilton, one that I am obsessed with and did a whole post about here, and I was tagged by my lovely friend Olivia! I’m not entirely sure who created the tag but if you know then please let me know!

The Room Where It Happens – A book you would put yourself in.

Not too long ago, I began a graphic novel series called Lumberjanes and I would LOVE to be one of the Lumberjanes. All the characters are so fun and entertaining!

The Schuyler Sisters – An underrated female character.

Lottie from Holly Bourne’s Spinster Club series! She’s so great and funny and she lights up every page she’s on. I adore Evie & I like Amber too but I’m so stoked to read more about Lottie in the Spinster Club trilogy finale ‘What’s A Girl Gotta Do’ which is out August 1st!

My Shot – A character that goes after what they want & doesn’t let anything stop them.

I really admire Darcy from Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld. She’s just landed her big publishing contract and I really enjoyed reading about how she kept level headed even though she was surrounded by a lot of glitz and glamour.

Stay Alive – A character you wish was alive

I recently read Shakespeare by Bill Bryson, so does Shakespeare count? I bet he’d be a fun bloke to chat to.

Burn – The most heartbreaking end to a relationship you’ve ever read.

The relationship in More Than This by Patrick Ness. You know the one.

You’ll Be Back – Sassiest villain.

Richard III was kind of sassy. Depending on how it’s performed, I guess.

The Reynolds Pamphlet – A book with a twist you didn’t see coming.

Yup, going to say More Than This for this question too!

Non Stop – A series you marathoned.

I don’t often read series anyway but the last one I proper marathoned was The Infernal Devices and that was right before City of Heavenly Fire came out in 2014!

Satisfied – Favourite book with multiple POVs.

Reading books with multiple POVs isn’t something that I do often so I can’t think of any unfortunately! If anyone has any good recommendations though, feel free to let me know!

Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story – A series/book you feel will be remembered throughout history.

This is a popular answer but I also agree that Harry Potter will be forever remembered. It’s such an influential series that affected people of all ages, not just children!

Thank you for reading! If you have yet to be tagged then consider yourself *tagged*. I know Jim from yayeahyeah.com/ loves Hamilton as well so if you are yet to do the tag, Jim, I tag you too!

Until next time,

Hayley.
